Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Willingness to complete training courses when assigned.
• Experience using DOS-based touch-screen computer.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections using various gauging methods and maintain quality records.
• Utilize precision measuring devices and equipment to verify customer specifications.
• Maintain inspection records and uphold safe working conditions.
• Identify defective material and determine acceptability of appearance and performance.
• Complete non-conforming material reports and tag products.
• Assist with gaging studies, ISO audits, and quality report preparation.
• Interact with SPC and Oasis measurement software.
