Job summary

A leading company in snack production seeks a Packing Operator to ensure efficient packaging of products. Responsibilities include packing bags, lifting boxes, and maintaining quality control. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and some related experience. The work hours are Monday to Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM, with additional hours on Friday as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 6 months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to lift boxes and maintain production rate.

Responsibilities

• Packs bags of finished product into boxes for shipment.
• Lifts boxes onto conveyors and palletizes them.
• Inspects packages and maintains cleanliness in packing area.

SUMMARY

Packs bags of finished product into boxes for shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties as may be assigned.

• Packs up to 80 bags per minute into boxes.
• Counts number of bags in each box.
• Lifts boxes onto conveyors.
• Palletize boxes onto skid.
• Spot checks seals, weight, code date and overall appearance of finished packages
• Sort used cardboard.
• supplies packing lines with cartons.
• Sticker sale priced items as needed.
• Inspect finished potato Chips.
• Clean machines, conveyors, chip bins, walls and floors as needed.
• Hours are 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday-Thursday, Friday as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;
• Three to six months related experience and/or training or;
• Equivalent combination or education and experience.
