Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Production Technician I to join our Huntington, IN team. You will operate machinery and equipment, follow standard procedures, and contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a hands-on role. Position details include a 2nd shift (2:45 PM - 11:00 PM) with potential weekend OT and compensation at $19.28 per hour plus a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months in a plant, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, process and/or filling equipment to meet production goals.
• Set up production lines correctly and perform Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
• Operate equipment such as fillers, labelers, cappers, printers and palletizers.
• Review filling/packaging instructions and ensure materials and PPE are available.
• Perform quality checks, take samples, and monitor fill weights.
• Document quality and productivity data in paper or electronic systems.
• Assist with line changeovers and wash water collection.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in Kaizens, 5S and continuous improvement projects.
