Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite CNC/assembly operator in the US NH Durham area. The role involves deburring and finishing aluminum parts, possibly operating CNC machines, and following detailed procedures to meet quality standards. You will read work instructions, maintain cleanliness, and support cost-reduction efforts.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to midnight with overtime as needed. A HS diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deburr and finish aluminum parts and possibly operate cnc machines.
• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools including files, hammers, chisels, pneumatic sanders and die grinders.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions with accuracy.
• Maintain quality product standards with no defects.
• Ensure parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
• Comply with elements of RTX quality systems.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
• Participate in audits and acquire applicable skills/certifications as needed.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.
• Comply with RTX Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and HR policies.
• Report progress to lead or supervisor and note conditions affecting quality.
• Lift and manipulate up to 35 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
