Alliance Laundry Systems in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Team Leader to support approximately 5-10 team members on a production work team. The role reports to the Production Group Leader and will coach, develop and build capabilities to ensure success.

The Team Leader will assimilate and train new members, communicate safety news and production goals daily, and uphold safety procedures with PPE as needed. They will drive continuous improvement and maintain KPI visibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Must possess a genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Communicate safety news, quality findings, human resources updates and line rate/goals to team in daily pre-shiftmeeting.
• Ensure all team members are following safety procedures.Obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for team members when necessary.
• Work with team members to generate and support ideas for Continuous Improvement. Keep a mindset of Continuous Improvement in everything you do.
• Hold team members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines.
• Escalate any production issues/systemic problems to Group Leaders.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.
• Update andmaintainKey Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other metrics for area/zone.

  Team Leads are required to:

  • Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
  • Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
