Job summary

Dometic is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Litchfield, Illinois facility. You will supervise receiving, assembly, and packaging operations, ensuring production targets and quality are met on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include planning work, coaching staff, enforcing safety programs, and collaborating with Lean resources to drive efficiency. AAssociates or higher degree and ERP/MRP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environment
• Associates or higher degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook)
• ERP/MRP experience required; Fourth Shift experience preferred

• Oversee production results (order accuracy, inventory accuracy) for the 2nd shift
• Plan work, assign tasks and appraise results
• Coach, train and discipline team members on policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety programs
• Ensure employees timekeeping and HR policy compliance
• Partner with Lean resources to improve efficiencies and participate in projects

We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Production Supervisor. This position reports to Plant Manager and will work in Litchfield, Illinois facility.

Second shift hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

About the position

As a Production Supervisor in the Operations team, you will be involved in overseeing the 2nd shift operations for receiving, assembly, and packaging operations.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for production results (Order accuracy, inventory accuracy, etc.) for their respective shift
• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Coaching, Training and Disciplining team members on policies, processes, and procedures
• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with safety programs
• Responsible for employee’s time keeping and ensure compliance with HR Policies
• Partner with Lean resources to continually improve efficiencies
• Participate in additional projects as necessary

A suitable background would be a

solid experience with employees within industrial environment – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or production work environment
• Associates or higher degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
• ERP/MRP experience required; Fourth Shift experience preferred
