Job summary

NPR of America, INC in Bardstown, KY is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (core hours 3PM - 11:10PM, Monday through Friday). You will oversee piston manufacturing operations, coach teams, and ensure safety and quality in a climate-controlled facility.

The role reports to the Production Manager and emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement, and engagement. Qualifications include 2+ years supervisory experience, Lean/TPS/TPM familiarity, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing in a Tier I environment (TPS/TPM preferred).
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach production/warehouse teams to meet output goals.
• Maintain time and attendance and lead performance management.
• Review schedules for adequate staffing; ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Lead production reporting metrics and cross-department communication.
• Operate within budget and support cost reduction efforts.
• Ensure SWI and P&P adherence.
• Support employee engagement and development.
