Front Door Defense is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Specialist in Perrysburg, Ohio. The role focuses on overseeing resin manufacturing tasks to meet daily production schedules and ensure accurate batching, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The position runs 2pm–10:30pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including inventory control, recipe creation, sampling, and problem solving to minimize downtime and waste. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliable live inventory of raw materials, WIP, or completed batches.
• Move chemicals from inventory to mixing tanks and empty drums into tanks.
• Provide first hand support to Production on issues with resins based on process parameters to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Spectra health and safety and regulatory requirements.
• Create, review, and submit resin recipes to meet production schedules.
• Submit and complete sampling for batching to ensure batches are approved for use.
• Maximize use of raw materials to minimize waste or obsolescence.
• Maintain documentation as defined in the Quality Management System.

2nd Shift Production Specialist

Oversee resin manufacturing tasks on the 2nd shift to meet daily production schedules.

Location: Perrysburg, Ohio, United States

About The Role

This position (Production Specialist) is responsible for the preparation and completion of engineered resins manufacturing for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. The hours are 2pm - 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

• Ensure a reliable live inventory of raw materials, WIP, or completed batches in the areas under his/her responsibility. You will be moving chemicals from inventory to mixing tanks and emptying drums into tanks.
• Provide first hand support to Production on issues associated with the resins based on the actual process parameters that may result in significant downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for creating, reviewing, submitting and completing the resin recipes required to accomplish the production schedules.
• Submit and complete all the sampling associated with the batching process so batches are fully approved before use.
• Ensure the effective utilization of raw materials in the batching area so minimal waste or obsolescence is avoided while accomplishing his/her duties.
• Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with his/her activities as defined in the Quality Management System.
• Address any potential equipment or batching process issues that may affect or delay the batching schedule.
