Job summary

ProStaff Workforce Solutions is looking for a Production Mechanic – 2nd Shift in Orlando, FL. You will maintain production and packaging equipment, ensuring operation aligns with SOPs and FDA guidelines.

This direct hire role runs 2nd shift (3 pm–11 pm) with pay DoE. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience, an Associate’s degree in a mechanical field, and strong diagnostic and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training required.
• 3–5 years of related work experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical systems.
• Experience working in a cGMP environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Follow SOPs, manuals, and GMP guidelines.
• Setup and changeover manufacturing lines and packaging equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report wear or needed repairs.
• Repair, tune, and perform project work on machinery.
• Maintain parts, tools, and inventory; coordinate with vendors as needed.
