Job summary

Chestnut Labs in Kentucky is seeking a production line operator to prepare, operate, maintain, and stock a line station to meet production standards. You will troubleshoot equipment, ensure quality, and follow GMP and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting records, and assisting with preventative maintenance. Prior production or general work experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with potential license requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station.
• Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment.
• Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention.
• Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
