Job summary

Altana Pharma Deutschland S.L. (Nycomed Germany Holding GmbH) is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead production and operating workers on the 2nd shift.

You will direct activities of inspectors, machine setters, fabricators, and operators, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently across shifts. You will read blueprints, plan schedules, coordinate with other supervisors, maintain records, and train staff on equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of production and operating workers across shifts.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations on site.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to synchronize operations between departments and shifts.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for workers.
• Maintain production records and prepare management reports.
• Determine standards and production budgets based on policies and resources.
• Provide training on equipment operations and safety procedures.
• Set up and adjust machines and equipment as needed.
