Job summary

Carl Buddig and Company is seeking a Crew Lead for our South Holland, IL facility. You will support management of all production functions to deliver safe, quality food products per USDA guidelines and oversee staffing for hourly teams.

You will monitor records, participate in Lean/5S activities, and collaborate with supervisors to meet schedules while maintaining GMP compliance. This role requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to work in the United States legally.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and USDA regulations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Complete production records and data entry.
• Assist with changeovers and line clearance.
• Oversee downtime cleanup activities.
• Coordinate replenishment of materials to meet schedule.
• Achieve goals and report production standards, downtime, and reassignment of work.
• Audit areas per SOP to ensure conformance and documentation.
• Provide training for new and temporary associates on safety, quality and productivity.
• Support Lean initiatives and 5S standards.
