Job summary

Truvant in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate and monitor daily production, supervising a team of Production Associates and Machine Operators, ensuring on-time delivery and safety compliance.

You will ensure adequate supplies, oversee set-ups and changeovers, monitor quality with the team, complete paperwork accurately, mentor staff, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • On the job training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily production for the machine process and supervise Production Associates and Machine Operators.
  • Ensure that all necessary supplies are continuously available for production.
  • Responsible for machine/production line set-ups, changeovers, and machine process set-up.
  • Verify that the correct packaging material is in use.
  • Correct workstation errors and perform minor adjustments/repairs to keep the process operational.
  • Monitor hourly production rates for productivity.
  • Work with Quality to report defects and ensure quality requirements.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and maintain production orders and labor allocations.
  • Maintain a safe production floor and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Assist with training and mentoring employees.
  • Seek continuous improvements and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred

  • Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
  • Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
  • Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor.
  • Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
  • Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds
