Job summary

JBS Prepared Foods in Booneville, MS is hiring for a 2nd Shift Production Hourly role. You will manufacture products to specifications and participate in safety and GMP training to ensure food safety and quality.

The position requires physical work in a refrigerated environment and potential overtime, including Saturdays. Wages start at $18.20 per hour with benefits such as vacations, holidays, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

• Manufacture product consistent with product specifications for the assigned work area.
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Assist with product reconditioning as needed and directed.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability include but are not limited to

• Manufacture product consistent with product specifications for the assigned work area.
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Assist with product reconditioning as needed and directed

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime as assigned
• Ability to work Monday to Saturday

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
