Job summary

Welser Profile North America in Valley City, OH is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift (2PM - 10PM). You will work on the floor alongside roll-forming and finalization teams, helping keep machines running and production flowing.

Responsibilities include assisting with coil and material changeovers, inspecting parts with gauges, and reworking or repacking to keep customer orders on schedule. A high school diploma is preferred, and manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
• Ability to use measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must work effectively in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coil/material changeovers, pack and move finished products, and rework or repack parts to keep orders on schedule.
• Inspect parts using gauges and maintain precise counts of everything processed.
• Support other production areas when needed to maintain flow.
• Follow EHS standards and take responsibility for product quality, stopping production if necessary.
• Take on additional duties to strengthen overall team and department performance.
