Job summary

Welser Profile North America is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift (2 PM – 10 PM) in Valley City, OH. You will work on the floor alongside roll-forming and finalization teams, keeping machines running and production flowing.

You will assist with coil changes, move finished products, perform basic setup and inspections, and maintain accurate part counts. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility to support other production areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
• Able to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Team player with excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to adapt to multiple production areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work on the floor alongside roll-forming and finalization teams to keep machines running and production flowing.
• Assist with coil/material changeovers, pack and move finished products, and rework or repack parts to meet schedules.
• Inspect parts using visual checks or gauges and perform basic setup or troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain precise counts of everything processed and follow EHS standards.
• Be ready to take on additional duties to strengthen team and department performance.
