Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc. in Plainfield, IN, is hiring a Production Associate 2nd Shift to assemble pool covers and related components. You will train with experienced leaders and perform tasks on the production line while maintaining safety and quality.

The role involves reading simple instructions, using hand and power tools, and standing for long shifts. Starting pay includes a base rate with a $1.00 shift differential, with full-time on-site employment and benefits.

Qualifications

0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines, and the use of hand tools.
0-3 years in manufacturing or production.
Ability to read basic English and have good communication skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-12 hour shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Train with highly skilled leaders in all areas of swimming pool production
Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
Manufacturing experience such as heat-seals welding, kit-building, light fabricating, cutting, and sewing encouraged, but not necessary.
Punctual and detail-oriented
Experience using power tools , hand tools, and sewing machines.
Work on a team of dedicated associates manufacturing swimming pools and pool components like thermoformed steps, structural foam molding of polymer panels, etc.
