Responsibilities

  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machines.
  • Ensure machines run quality parts at production rates.
  • Produce parts meeting customer specifications per Hubbell Quality Operating Principles.
  • Confirm work orders, materials, and correct equipment setup.
  • Calibrate equipment and test gear; complete daily production paperwork.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and 5S housekeeping standards.

  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machine in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates.
  • Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using theHubbell Utility Solutions Quality Operating Principles.
    • Confirm work-order is correct
    • Confirm all required materials are hands-on
    • Confirm correct set-up of all equipment is current
    • Calibration of all equipment and test equipment is current
    • Confirm finished product meets all quality requirments
    • Complete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing parts
    • Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standards

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Gripping repeatedly with good physical dexterity
  • Constant walking and standing for a 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Reaching, pulling, bending, stooping and twisting
