Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC is seeking a production worker to measure, blend, pack, check-weigh, and seal various dry food products on-site. The facility is free of the top 9 allergens and operates under strict GMPs and SOPs to ensure safety and product quality.

Responsibilities include setting up packaging machinery, weighing ingredients, verifying weights and lot information, and palletizing finished goods while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness throughout the packaging area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dry food packaging machinery (All-Fill, conveyors, scales, sealers, printers).
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix bulk dry ingredients per blend sheets.
• Fill packages to correct net weight and check weighing.
• Inspect finished goods for seal integrity, correct lot numbers and best-by dates; clean excess product from packaging.
• Place finished goods into case boxes per batch paperwork and ensure correct quantity per case.
• Palletize finished cases according to batch paperwork.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of packaging room following SOPs; assist with general warehouse cleaning.

Job description

Measuring, blending, packing, check weighing, and sealing of various dry food products. Our facility is free of the top 9 allergens. Production workers must adhere to strict facility safety protocols, personal hygiene commitment, allergen cross contamination policies, and are expected to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operation of dry food packaging machinery (e.g. All-Fill machine, conveyors, scales, sealers, and printers)
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix bulk dry ingredients according to precise blend sheets
• Fill package to correct net weight check weighing each package
• Inspection of finished goods to ensure seal is intact, lot number and best by date are correct and legible, and wiping off any excess product on packaging before putting it in the case box
• Place finished goods into the case box specified on batch paperwork ensuring quantity per case is correct
• Palletize finished cases according to batch paperwork
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of packaging room following SOP’s
• General cleaning in warehouse when needed
