2nd Shift Process Verification Technician

We have been developing, producing, and supplying valve seat inserts and valve guides for the automotive industry worldwide since 1954.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment on a daily basis.
• Set up electronic components.
• Understand machine mechanics.
• Perform part changes.
• Run rabbits and detect differences between good and bad parts.
• Follow safe practices at all times.
• Meet quality requirements by identifying types of defects and their likely causes; immediately report or correct quality concerns as appropriate.
• Complete preventative maintenance (TPM) tasks as scheduled or as necessary.
• Measure parts to ensure high accuracy, reproducibility, and repeatability using digital micrometers, bench gauges, dial indicators, digital calipers, and metric measurements.
• Complete hand‑on and automated inspection of parts.
• Inspect parts and documents.
• Read and execute the completion of routing packets.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills.
• Show understanding of math equations.
• CNC and turning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a machining environment that includes grinders and lathes or equivalent technical training.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent with solid mechanical knowledge.
• Vocational training in a machining‑related area is strongly preferred.
• Bleistahl can provide internal and external training as required if the candidate does not meet all qualifications.
