Job summary

Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Technician to support injection molding and automated manufacturing operations. You will set up, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain molding processes, robotic systems, and automated assembly equipment for medical device components.

The role requires 3–5+ years in injection molding within a regulated medical device environment, ISO 13485 knowledge, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience.
• Medical device manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in ISO 13485 regulated environments.
• Experience supporting robotic automation systems and automated assembly equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start injection molding machines per schedule and validated parameters.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated assembly equipment.
• Perform mold changes and job changeovers while ensuring quality.
• Troubleshoot machines and automation to minimize downtime.
• Monitor cycle times, process stability, and product quality.
• Support vision systems, conveyors, robotics, and EOAT in assembly.
• Enter production data and maintain process logs and setup sheets.
• Ensure line clearances and comply with ISO 13485 and safety policies.
