Job summary

Oliver Inc. in Fitchburg, MA, seeks a Printing Press Second Operator for folding carton production on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm).

You’ll support make-readies, color verification, inking, and quality checks to ensure accurate, on-time runs and minimal waste. Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and at least 1 year operating a multi-color offset press; experience with UV inks and inline coating is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to read, write and understand English; basic math and fractions helpful.
• Experience with color matching and density measurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and specs before each run.
• Support make-readies: install/remove plates, blankets, and coating blankets.
• Set up and adjust side guides, head stops, gripper fingers, and detectors.
• Maintain fountain solutions, inks and coatings; wash units and blankets between jobs.
• Keep area clean, safe; assist training and cover Lead Pressman during breaks.
