Job summary

Magna International is seeking a press operator for a role in South Carolina. You will support daily press line operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and assist with training while covering for the Team Leader as needed.

The job requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of press experience, and forklift certification. Familiarity with SAP and a strong reliability is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One to three months experience running a press.
• Previous press shop experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Leader in daily operations to ensure the press line runs safely and meets production targets.
• Enforce safety, quality, and work instruction compliance including PPE usage and BOS/ISO procedures.
• Assist with training and coaching associates; provide coverage during breaks, weekends and absences.
• Maintain housekeeping, automation staging, inspections, and verify setup sheets and run rates.
• Manage SAP transactions and inventory control when Team Leader is absent.
