Job summary

Autokiniton's Greenville, SC facility is hiring a Press Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift. You will maintain tool and die and pressroom equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Expect to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns with PC/PLC ladder logic, and service hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems. Welding and fabrication skills are needed; overhead cranes familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or high school diploma with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with stamping presses up to 2000 tons, coil feeding, servo transfer, conveyors.
• Familiar with overhead cranes and their operation.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; able to interface with customers.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ensuring Tool & Die and Pressroom equipment is maintained, running, and repaired as required for production.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns using PC/PLC ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Weld and fabricate steel as needed and repair electrical components.
• Assist other tool room personnel with troubleshooting ideas.
