Job summary

Dane Manufacturing Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Forming Operator to run a panel bending machine and form precision sheet metal components. You will adjust tooling and programs to keep production smooth, while reading blueprints and job instructions to ensure accuracy.

You will inspect parts with calipers and gauges, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve processes. A focus on safety and team collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machining preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Comfort with precision measurement tools (calipers, gauges).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate panel bending equipment to produce sheet metal parts.
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues.
• Record production, downtime, and quality information.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
