Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Prepress Technician for the 2nd shift in Vermont to handle production and quality control of all plates, assemble content and proofs, and maintain schedules and data sheets. The role offers Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with overtime as needed and a $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required.
• Ability to perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance is required.
• Overtime may be required per departmental policy.
• Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Continuous standing required.
• Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/overhead required.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling required.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
• Pass company color perception test.
• Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.
