Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time, 2nd shift, Prefinish Material Handler to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare all material before loading onto longline
• Load/unload material properly onto/off the longline
• Accountable for the product and assembly you are working on
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
• Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
• Inspect all material for quality
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Work with a team of individuals to ensure product is picked on time and to quality specifications
• Work together with all other areas in the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous material handler or warehouse experience
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
• Candidate must have a good work history
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

WORK SCHEDULE

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed

PAY

• $21/hr. (2nd shift)
