Qualifications

• Previous experience operating saws or similar machinery.
• Familiarity with large-scale forklift operation and overhead crane use.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
• Mechanically inclined and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an industrial saw to cut materials to the correct length and size.
• Use large-scale forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and set them on the machine.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep the equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Interpret blueprints and input operation requirements to ensure accurate measurements.
• Regularly stand for long periods and handle physical tasks with care.
