Job summary

Responsibilities include soldering, microscope-assisted assembly, inspections, data recording, and adherence to safety and company policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0-2 years prior related experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Experience in soldering and manual assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Assemble complex, small assemblies with high quality and efficiency.
• Assemble parts primarily using soldering techniques.
• Perform assembly and soldering with a microscope as required.
• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests to ensure proper operation.
• Report deviations and conduct quality inspections at specified intervals.
• Maintain data and record keeping accurately.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe; follow safety procedures.
• Apply basic math for weights, measurements, volume and distance.
• Work with RTV, epoxy, and other adhesives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure team effectiveness.
• Comply with environmental, health and safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior per company values.
• Be punctual and reliable; participate in meetings to solve problems.
