The role demands 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a background in plastics or related industries, and strong communication skills. Compensation includes $28-$30 per hour with a 7.5% shift differential and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in plastics manufacturing or similar industries such as metal, lumber, automotive, or aerospace.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-shift handoffs.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or post-secondary degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-6 operators and technicians.
• Oversee daily extrusion line setups, operations, and teardowns.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and maintain safety policies.
• Monitor product dimensions and visuals to minimize scrap.
• Assist technicians with mechanical and process issues on extrusion machinery.
• Complete shift logs, production reports, and attendance tracking.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow efficiency.
