Job summary

Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift onsite at our Williamsport, MD facility. The role operates plastic extrusion equipment and supports manufacturing of products from custom extrusions to ZipMate zippers.

Hourly pay starts at $19.00 with a $0.35 shift differential. Shift hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and candidates should have at least one year of machine operation experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in machine operation is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Company does not sponsor immigration visas; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other visa programs.
• No relocation assistance; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Williamsport, MD.

Responsibilities

• Start up and operate plastic extrusion manufacturing equipment.
• Manufacture products ranging from custom plastic extrusions to ZipMate zippers.
• Set up jobs with proper dies, adapters, breaker plates, and screen packs.
• Inspect final products to ensure Eaton quality standards.
• Prepare the extruder and downstream equipment for the next job in line.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace around the equipment.
