Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a Plant Quality Technician (2nd Shift) at our West Branch, IA site to ensure incoming goods, in-process, and final products meet quality standards. In this role you will audit, analyze, and coordinate corrective actions with the PQA team, supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with production, engineering, and suppliers to maintain quality, using inspection tools and documentation while following safety and training requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience in quality control in the manufacturing industry.
• 2 years of professional experience in quality control in wind turbine manufacturing (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of quality inspection techniques and quality standards.
• Understanding of electrical or mechanical systems and components.
• Experience in opening and following up on non-conformities related to the production line.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and End-of-Line (EOL) inspections to verify quality.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations and support timely resolution.
• Open, document, and follow up on non-conformities with corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections and test results.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with internal teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues.
