Job summary

Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (4p-2:30am, Mon-Thu with rotating Fridays). You will lead a high-volume, lean manufacturing team, focus on safety, quality, cost, and output, and coordinate daily operations across departments.

This role requires strong problem solving, coaching, and communication skills, with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement; on-site position with comprehensive benefits and day-one eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field (not required but preferred).
• Strong problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams or shifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall performance of the production team with a focus on safety, quality, cost, time and output.
• Supervise material usage to ensure smooth production flow.
• Support plant programs and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with department leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering and Continuous Improvement.
• Communicate goals and plant initiatives with leadership and staff.
• Engage in training and development to foster positive employee relations.
• Ensure adherence to TAKT, safety, and 5S targets while leading shift activities.
