Job summary

Preferred Utilities in Danbury, CT, is seeking an Industrial Piping Fabrication Specialist for 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM). You will translate blueprints into piping layouts and fabricate carbon and stainless steel systems on the factory floor.

You’ll collaborate with trades, maintain clean, safe work areas, and meet milestones. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, piping fabrication experience, ability to read drawings, safety awareness, and reliability for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training in pipe fitting or fabrication is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a pipe fitter or fabricator in an industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of piping systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Fluency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and best practices.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and a commitment to detail.
• Clear communicator and dependable team player.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
