Position: 2nd Shift Picker / Packer (Seasonal)

PICKER / PACKER (SEASONAL)

Shift: 2nd

• Off-Peak: 3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• Peak: 6:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

During the 12-hour peak shifts, team members follow a rotating schedule that includes working four shifts one week and three shifts the following week. This schedule allows for two long weekends off per month.

Job Purpose

Team members will pick and pack sports related products for customers in our air conditioned warehouse in Mebane, NC.

We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties

Responsibilities:

• Review order and pull product from warehouse shelving, ensuring the right item and amount of item is selected.
• Pack orders in correct shipping box or sleeve.
• Create shipping label using warehouse system software and scale.
• Assist with keeping a clean and safe working environment throughout the CFC.
• Work in other areas of the warehouse as needed; support work at our Washington St facility as needed.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be able to pick, pull and pack merchandise with minimal absenteeism and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read numbers and letters and match them up with picking locations.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel and reach above your head.
• Must be able to go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
• Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Computer Skills:

Must be able to learn basic computer skills.
