Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is hiring a Full Time Physician Assistant for our Health Center in Hagerstown, MD. You will conduct exams, manage patient care plans, and collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive care for client employees.

Qualifications

• Active licenses to practice in the relevant state
• Current NCCPA certification required
• DEA license (state-matching) if applicable
• At least three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department
• BLS/ACLS certification as required by contract scope

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans and records progress
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists as needed
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned
