Job summary

Virbac Corporation is seeking a Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Bridgeton, MO. You will directly supervise union operators and technicians across mixing, granulation, formulation, compression and packaging to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and leading training for the team. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry/Engineering with 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or 10+ years with supervisory experience.
• Operational pharmaceutical experience required.
• cGMP experience with writing deviations and corrective actions.
• Experience supervising in a union environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train shift personnel; ensure duties and SOPs are understood.
• Organize activities to meet production schedules; monitor KPIs and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, SOPs and regulatory rules; support QA and CAPA.
• Lead kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives; drive waste reduction.
• Investigate deviations; perform root cause analysis and CAPA with QA.
• Uphold Safety Program and ensure safe working conditions; report incidents.
• Identify training needs and coordinate curricula for team members.
