Jabil in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a PCB Electronics/Test Technician for 2nd shift. You will develop and maintain test procedures, hardware and software for electronic circuit production, and support the Test Engineer in commissioning test solutions.

You will build testers and fixtures and help improve test yields, efficiency, uptime, and training. A strong electronics background is required with soldering of SMT components and good communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting PCBs down to component level required.
• Experience soldering surface mount components.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test procedures, hardware, and software for electronic circuit production.
• Support the Test Engineer in development and commissioning of test solutions.
• Provide deliverables to support production and manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate training and education for test operations.
• Monitor and improve test yields, efficiency, intermittencies, and uptime.
• Balance cost and coverage to optimize the test process.
• Coordinate timetable for test readiness with Test Support staff.
