Job summary

EnerSys invites applications for a Plant 2 Pasting Machine Operator on the 2nd shift in Springfield, MO. This role focuses on paste and stack quality grid plates to maintain continuous line production and meet production standards.

You will set up and changeover equipment, monitor paste quality, clear jams, adjust machines as needed, and ensure safe operation in a plant environment with PPE and respirator requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must read and write in English.
• Must possess a valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment set-up/changeover configurations.
• Paste quality plates/grids to current production standards.
• Observe pasting operation and clear jams as required.
• Maintain control of product quality.
• Make necessary machine adjustments.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• All other duties as assigned.
