Work Schedule

• Tuesday – Friday 2pm - 8pm and Saturday 6am – 12pm or when the work is completed

Qualifications

• 3+ years Forklift experience
• CDL is a plus or switcher experience

Job Overview

The 2nd Shift Part Time Forklift Operator II is responsible for material movement throughout the facility and grounds, using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill sales requests
• Secure and document outbound loads properly
• Load and unload trailers supporting delivery activities, updating SAP and CONA
• Conduct safety and housekeeping activities, including pre-and post-trip checks
• Assist with staging equipment, yard maintenance, and other miscellaneous activities
• Use a switcher to maneuver trailers as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of safety principles and equipment operation
• Advanced forklift skills, including operating in small areas
• Basic pallet-jack skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read SOPs, complete documentation, and follow instructions
• Good communication and mathematical skills
• Ability to work in high/low temperatures and noisy environments, lifting weights over 25 lbs occasionally

Minimum Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack certification
• Switcher operation certification
• Class A CDL where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and understanding of loading strategies

Work Environment

High-noise, non-temperature-controlled environment with various physical demands.
