Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - backpack style.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors (inside buildings).
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces including high dusting when needed.
• Wash windowsills, interior doors, and glass; clean entrance doors.
• Restock bathroom supplies and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Monitor for defects and report to supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily; replace liners as needed.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
