Propak is hiring a Pallet Sorting Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Riverside, MO. The role involves operating the SMETCO 300 pallet sorter, inspecting pallets, and maintaining machinery.

You will work 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 4:30 am (Mon–Wed and rotating Thursday). The position offers guaranteed progression and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and additional voluntary programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator preferred.
• Experience operating a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned equipment, such as a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter, per policies.
• Sort pallets by quality, manufacturer, and type, inspecting for conformance.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance; clear jams and debris.
• Report equipment problems promptly to the appropriate authority.
• Ensure productive sorting of pallets through the machine.
• Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights and move materials around the facility.
• Complete all production paperwork to track progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace around the machine.
• Follow safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Adapt to new schedules or tasks based on operational needs.
