Based in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, specializes in designing and producing sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems to solve complex engineering challenges.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Parts Painter responsible for applying paint and coatings to aerospace parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and quality.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Work safely, adhere to safety policies, and promote safety among team members.
  2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
  3. Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spraying, brushing, or dipping techniques.
  4. Inspect painted parts for quality and compliance.
  5. Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
  6. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
  7. Document work processes accurately.
Required Skills
  1. Experience in industrial painting, preferably in aerospace.
  2. Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
  3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  4. Strong attention to detail and quality.
  5. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
  6. Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
  1. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  2. Work near heavy machinery or equipment.
  3. Adaptability to manufacturing environment demands.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in aerospace painting or related field.
Level of Education
