Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Parts Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will work safely, adhere to safety policies, and be responsible for applying paint and coatings to aerospace parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. Attention to detail, precision, safety, and quality are essential.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Work safely, follow safety policies, and promote safety among colleagues
2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
3. Apply primers, paints, and coatings via spraying, brushing, or dipping
4. Inspect painted parts for quality and specification adherence
5. Maintain and clean painting booths, equipment, and work areas
6. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
7. Document work processes and maintain accurate records

Required Skills:

1. Experience in industrial painting, preferably aerospace
2. Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Strong attention to detail and quality
5. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing in various units)
6. Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

1. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
2. Frequent work near heavy machinery or equipment
3. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience painting in aerospace or related field

Education Level:

• High school diploma or GED required
