Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc (West Bend) is seeking a dependable team member to assist in the paint-line and assembly department. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, masking, assembling, and packaging painted parts, with other duties as needed.

Training will begin on 1st shift; once 2nd shift is running, hours are Mon–Fri, 1:30pm–10pm. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a metal environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of computers and ability to use them for job tasks.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Safety-conscious in a metal environment and able to handle hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts from the paint-line.
• Package painted parts.
• Mask and assemble parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

This role is primarily responsible for assisting in the paint-line and assembly department. This position also may be required to assist other areas when needed. We have a 2nd Shift Paint Line/Assembly Line opening up in the near future and would train this person on 1st shift. Once 2nd shift is running, the hours would be M-F, 1:30pm-10pm.

Responsibilities

• Helping to load/unload parts off of the paint-line
• Packaging all of the painted parts
• Masking parts
• Assembling parts
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds, bend, twist and transport product and materials short distances
• Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in a an environment with metal and sharp objects
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
• Work in an efficient and timely manner.
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task
