Qualifications

Job Description:

Shift: 2nd

Work Hours: 4:00pm - End of shift

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup

• Responsible for operating and maintaining a box machine, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

• Complete Necessary maintenance on equipment according to Standardized Work.

• Must have the ability to recognize product that may not meet standards.

• Perform daily paperwork.

• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals

• Preform weekly Preventive Maintenance on all equipment.

• Required to have and use troubleshooting skills

• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.

• Oil and lubricates moving parts on machines/conveyors to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.

• Ability to identify and use hand tools and power tools.

• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

• Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.

• Can respond quickly and calmly to emergency requests.

• Works well with a team.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with others to describe the problem and solution involved in particular maintenance requests.

Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location. Must be able to perform the following task for periods of time on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. 1 person required for tub weighing 0 - 49 lb.; 2 people required for 50 - 100 lb. tub; Promotes safe lifting practices & employee safety. All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000. Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.
