Job summary

Sharp Packaging Solutions, part of UDG Healthcare plc, seeks a Packaging Associate II on 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) to verify compliance with Work Instructions and batch records. You will conduct attribute inspections, hardware verifications, and component deliveries while ensuring product quality in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, accurate documentation, and supporting efficient production in the assigned packaging area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college education desired.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations related to cGMP is desired.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or similar assembly process preferred.
• Good documentation and communication skills are required.
• General knowledge of quality control processes is desired.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP compliance and perform quality inspections (equipment challenges and verification, components, bulk product, work-in-process and finished goods) related to contract packaging.
• Read and understand process steps within the packaging record to ensure compliance during packaging.
• Inspect units for quality as they are packaged.
• Perform quality inspections as required per the packaging record and per AQL requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness and supporting documentation of packaging requirements with Batch Records.
• Assist with overall production efficiency in the assigned room(s).
• Pre-start Equipment Room Check and Area clearance pages, Pre-Post Production Pages, and related verification pages.
