Job summary

Keefe Group in Bridgeton, MO is hiring a 2nd shift packaging maintenance technician to support a fast-paced, on-site packaging operation. You will maintain equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and report to the director of packaging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures.
• 1+ years in Food Manufacturing preferred.
• Packaging experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude for high-speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented with effective communication.
• Shift: MONDAY-THURSDAY, 5 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 1 am.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment and facilities to maximize quality production with limited downtime and waste.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
• Complete PMs as scheduled.
• Monitor and maintain safety devices on production lines.
• Train operators and other mechanics.
• Assist with machine and building repairs.
• Order and track purchase orders to avoid downtime.
• Other responsibilities as determined by needs.
