Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Mechanic in Indiana. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing warehouse vehicles, forklifts, conveyors and power equipment, with preventative maintenance and installations in warehouse operations.

Shift is 2nd (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) Monday–Friday, pay $23.50/hr plus a $1.00 shift differential. Ideal candidates will have experience with shrink film/heat tunnel and Autobag systems, DOT and aptitude testing, and 1 year fleet experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience.
• 1 year of fleet experience.
• Pass Department of Transportation exam.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair warehouse vehicles including forklifts, trailers, conveyors and power equipment.
• Provide mechanical diagnosis and solution for preventative maintenance and major repairs.
• Schedule daily maintenance work and perform repairs to equipment.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for maintenance needs.
• Ensure work complies with company standards and policies.
• Manage parts inventory for efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
