Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain packaging lines, perform basic setup and troubleshooting, and ensure efficient production. You will follow GMP, food safety, allergen controls and sanitation procedures, document line performance, and cooperate across departments to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: N/A
• Experience: Must have experience with operating and maintaining the machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently.
• Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
• Must understand FDA guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays
• Ability to setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently.
• Observe all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor
• Responsible for collaborating with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
